LED Gas Station Canopy Lighting

Model No: LS-PFL-150/400/1000

Fluorescent, halogen and metal replacement for gas station canopy lights with LED is widely adopted in US. Due to its high energy saving and durability, there are more and more petroleum companies strive to seek the LED canopy lights for gas stations. Explosion proof and anti-spark ceiling flood lights are the important features because safe luminaires prevent the gasoline vapor is ignited. Our vapor tight LED ceiling lights use low voltage of 12V / 24V and high energy efficiency chips. We manufacture low cost LED recessed lights and solar canopy lights. This product page gives you the brief idea on how to retrofit your conventional luminaires having 400 – 1000 watt.

Step #1: Types of lights

To embellish the outdoor gas station, LED recessed downlights or canopy lights can be used. The former one is inserted into the ceiling, which is deemed to give better appearance. For this type of luminary, the size of the recessed flood lamps should be perfectly matched with the gap, such as 4-inch and 8-inch. The larger one gives a higher power illumination. The second type is the LED gas station canopy light. It is a flood lamps attaching onto the top region. By having the ultra-thin design, the protruding part can be minimized.

LED lights for gas station canopy & ceiling

LED replacement of halogen or metal halide canopy gas station’s lighting have better explosion proof reinforcement. Safety is always our first and foremost concern. As the real operation voltage is 12 to 24V, we prevent the high voltage and power consumption that leads to gasoline vapor setting fire. The water-tight and lightning protection design are also the essential features on the outdoor inclement weather such as thunderstorm.

Step #2: Specification of gas station canopy lights

Before the purchase of LED luminaries, we need to select the proper specification for your gas station canopy lights, such as power, color temperature, beam angle and input voltage. If you have no idea on power required, we can help calculate and offer the photometric design which enable us to accurately predict the number of recessed flood lamps or ceiling lights.

If you want to save energy in the greatest extend, you can add the solar powered panel to absorb sun light energy in day time and then re-use them at night. The battery lasts for 6 to 10 hours.

Smaller the beam angle, narrower or more concentrated the light beam. For a tall ceiling, we are going to adopt the flood lamps having larger beam angle for broader illumination. We use 45 – 60 degrees to light up a 6 to 15-meter-high ceilings.
