What are TÜV and CE Listed LED Flood Lights?

What is TÜV Certification?

TÜV stands for Technischer Überwachungsverein in German. It means Technical Inspection Association, a non-governmental examination organization in Germany. TÜV certification is widely accepted in EEA. There are three institutions that are qualified to issue TÜV certification and they are TÜVRheinland, TÜV SUD and TÜV NORD, among which, TÜV SUD has been operating for the longest time and has the biggest scale in the world too. Ledsmaster got TÜV certification through TÜV SUD.

TÜV not only concerns the safety of the products but their environmental impact. For example, the buyers will look at the products to see whether there are risks during the operation like overheat or electric shock. The certification ensures that the products with the mark on them are of good quality.

How to Get TÜV Certification?

Getting this certification is impossible unless the products pass their vigorous tests. The institution would send professionals to inspect your factory, production process and products every season or every year. If you fail to meet the standard during one of the inspection, they would not approve your certification.

What Does CE Marking Stand For?

CE is the abbreviation for Conformité Européenne, which is the French term for “European Conformity”. In European Economic Area (EEA), certain products such as electronic and medical devices, machines with moving parts should comply with Harmonized Standards accordingly to gain access to European market. For lighting fixtures, they should comply with Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) at the same time to get CE approved. In another word, if you want to sell your products to EEA, your products must have the CE marking. What many people don’t know about is that CE marking indicates that the products meet health, high safety and environmental protection requirements. CE approved does not equal to high quality. If you get a CE approved LED lights, it only means this light is safe to use. It does not guarantee it has high quality such as remarkable brightness and energy efficiency. And thus, we need to look at both CE and TUV at the same time. Our LED flood lights achieve these two certifications.

How to Get a CE Marking?

All products must be tested by laboratory. The test report and Technical Files (TCF) are required for involved parties to issue the CE certification.

While CE is like the passport to EU market, TÜV certification is more than that. It is a certification for high quality goods too.

TÜV and CE Listed LED Flood Lights

Ledsmaster’s LED flood lights comply with CE and TÜV standards. Our LED lighting fixtures has been sold to many countries in Europe and around the world. Not only do we have certification, we have gained good reputation too.

LED Outdoor Sports Field Lighting

When it comes to outdoor sports field lighting, LED lighting fixture is the best option among metal halide, high-pressure sodium lights, halogen and other conventional lights, because of its high luminous efficiency and long lifespan. Our floodlights adopt 10 watt individual LED chip. Since there are more chips spread out in a larger lamp, the luminary produces less heat even operating for a long period of time. Besides, the luminous efficiency reaches 150 lm/w.

Since our products adopt self-developed optics, the glare (light leakage) is reduced by 40 – 60% compared with other LED lights available in the market. This means more light can reach the target area and the distraction to audience and players on the field can be greatly reduced.

UV is another concern. Our flood lamps are UV free, thus it will not hurt our skin and eyes. Our engineer strictly controlled the lights to fall into the visible light region of 420 to 680 nm, while eliminating the harmful UV precisely.

Indoor Warehouse Lighting

Our warehouse flood lights support dimming system by means of motion sensor or photo sensor. Dimming is an effective way to save energy. During the day time, when there is enough sunlight and indoor illumination for workers, the brightness of the warehouse lamps is reduced automatically. When night falls, the photo sensor will be triggered if the lumen threshold falls a certain value (100 to 150 lux). On the contrary, motion sensors detect the recognize if it is necessary to turn on/off the lights.

Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights

The LED grow lights have full wavelength spectrum to mimic the sunlight. Broad spectrum gives overall benefit for root formation, plant growth and flowering. It is proven that UV lights play an important role in plant cultivation and it thickens the leaves and helps increase their strength. They are essential because the survival rate of the plants can be increased under inclement weather, as well as fluctuating temperature & humidity. Also, the grow lights has IP66 rating to resist the water jet.

The grow lights adopt 7 watt or 5 watt individual chip, which increases the luminous efficiency to 160 or 180 lm/W respectively, and thus gives you a brighter grow lighting device after replacing your metal halide, HPS or halogen lamps. All of the above features help you yield more in a shorter time, while decreasing your energy bill.
